| Timber logs recovered in J-K | | |

Police and forest officials have recovered 437 timber logs worth over Rs two crore from Doda district of the state, official sources said today.
Acting on a tip-off, forest department sleuths along with police conducted raids in Thakuria and Peeprian villages of Doda last night and recovered timber logs valued at Rs 2.18 crore, the sources said.
No one was arrested in this regard as the smugglers managed to flee the spot, they said, adding a case has been registered in this regard. |
