| Para-vet staff hails removal of pay anomalies | | | JAMMU MARCH 21 Hailing the decision of the State Cabinet regarding removal of pay anomalies of para veterinary staff of Sheep Husbandry Department, the President of Sheep and Wool Workers Association Mohammed Gafoor Dar has congratulated over 6000 employees of the department for their cooperation in the constant struggle for getting its demand conceded by the government. Addressing media persons here today, Dar offered special thanks to Minister and the Minister of State for Animal Husbandry Taj Mohi-ud-Din and Khalik Ahmed Band respectively for up holding the promise made with the employees with regard to the removal of pay anomalies. He announced to hold the 7th state level conference of state workers association in April at Jammu. He said the workings committee of the Association which met here today also discussed threadbare various issues and passed several resolutions demanding grant of two and a half days extra pay, reservation in gazetted posts, creations of posts of Sectional officers and Head Assistant in each district. Announcing to hold elections of the state body of the Association, the President called upon the district presidents to complete the membership drive and elect delegates from each district who could participate in the 7th state level conference.
