| CM plants Chinar sapling at Botanical garden on World Arbor Day | | Present Govt will continue its full term: Azad | | Srinagar, March 21
On the eve of World Arbor Day, Chief Minister Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad launched plantation drive by planting a Chinar sapling at Botanical Garden here today. He was accompanied by MLC Mr. Mohammad Amin Bhat.
The function was organized by the Floriculture department.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that plantation of trees should be made a habit by the people and students. He said the need of the hour is to go in for planting trees in a big way. This he said will go a long way to conserve environment and stop soil erosion.
