| Azad presides de-addiction function at Sultan-ul-Arifeen auditorium | | Large number of people, prominent citizens, social workers attended the function | | Srinagar, March 21
Chief Minister Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad today visited Sultan-ul-Arifeen auditorium at Girls Higher Secondary School, Shampora, Nowhatta where a medical camp regarding de-addiction had been organized.
Police Hospital in collaboration with Psychiatric Hospital, Tibia College and some local NGOs had organized the function.
The Chief Minister evinced keen interest in the camp and interacted with various participants. He called for organizing more such camps in other areas and said that rehabilitation of the affected people should be taken into consideration.
A large number of people were present on this occasion.
The experts threw light on the ill effects of the addiction and also remedial measures.
