Srinagar, March 21 Chief Minister Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad has expressed profound grief over the sad demise of ex-Minister and former JKPCC President Mr. Mohammad Ayub Khan. Mr. Khan, 84, passed away here today. Describing Mr. Khan as a multi-faceted personality, Chief Minister recalled his contribution to the state and the country in different fields including as a member of J&K Constituent Assembly, as a Member of Parliament, as Minister in the State Cabinet, JKPCC President and renowned Cooperator. Mr. Azad conveyed his condolences to the bereaved family of Mr. Khan and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul. Mr. Khan, who passed away here today, was laid to rest at Gujjar Nagar graveyard this afternoon. Minister for Education, Peerzada Mohammad Sayeed, Minister for Health and Medical Education Mr. Mangat Ram Sharma, Minister for Power, Mr. Nawang Rigzin Jora, Minister for Rural Development Mr. Jugal Kishore Sharma, Chairman, Social Welfare Board Mr. G. M. Saroori, Legislators, Corporator, political leaders, relatives, family members and admirers of Mr. Khan as well as large number of people from all sections of the society were present at graveyard.
