| Qarra visits several areas in Srinagar, | | Lays foundation of Rs. 8.87 crore Mujgund WSS | | Budgam, March
Minister for Finance and Planning Mr. Tariq Hameed Qarra today visited several areas in Srinagar including Qamarwari, Mehjoor Nagar, Shalteng, Mujgund, Mulroo, Panzinara affected due to incessant rains. He directed the officers accompanying him to take all possible measures to provide help and assistance to the people in these areas.
At Mujgund, Chaki Mujigund and Malroo, a large number of people met the Minister and apprised him of their problems.
The Minister also laid the foundation stone of water supply scheme at Mujgund coming up at a cost of Rs. 8. 87 crore. On completion the scheme would provide drinking water facility to 3600 souls of six villages of the area.
