BJP demands probe into selection of asstt. Surgeons

BJP state Vice Presidents Satish Sharma and Chander Prakash and State General secretary Shamsher Singh Manhas have severely criticized the selection of assistant surgeons recently made by the Public Service Commission. The alleged that nepotism and favoritism has been made the criteria by the PSC in selecting the assistant surgeons and mostly the relatives of politicians, bureaucrats, big businessmen have been selected at the expense of most deserving candidates. They said that those who have just completed their internship have been selected ignoring those who are waiting for the long time.
The said that the government have been saying that they are very particular about the filling the vacancies in dispensaries and hospitals in order to provide smooth medicare facilities to the people.
BJP, leaders demanded a through probe into the allegation of nepotism and favoritism and declared that if justice is not done to the deserving doctors, party will launch an agitation in favour of aggrieved doctors.
