| MTN holds maiden meeting, discusses action plans | | | Jammu | Mar 21
The maiden meeting of the governing body of Mother-The Nature (MTN), a newly formed association, was held here this afternoon. The meeting chaired by its DG S S Bijral (Retd IGP) discussed the administrative and future action plans of the society to safeguard the interests and strengthening of human pride.
Bijral highlighted the need for awareness among the masses, particularly women and the youth. As proposed by him, it was approved unanimously to accept famous verses of Guru Gobind Singh Ji “Deh Shiva Var Ehey……. Kar Apni Jeet Karoon” as MTN Anthem and famous song “Aye Malek Tere Bandey Hum……… Hanstey Huye Nikle Dum” as MTN song for starting and concluding all activities of the organization. Further the body appointed Directors for some districts of Jammu Province namely Sunil Badyal, Director MTN Udhampur, H Fani Director MTN Doda, Dr. Tariq Hussain Takeem, and Director MTN Kishtwar; and requested the directors to propose further functionaries of their districts, tehsils and panchayats. The body also formed action plan drawn to address youth and general public for creating mass awareness for their desirable positive role.
Those who participated in the meeting include Nonu Khera, Secretary MTN, Ashwani Khullar, A.K Badyal General Secretary MTN, Ravinder Koul and Neeru Khullar.
