UDHAMPUR, Nov 7: High drama was witnessed in Ramnagar on Thursday when an SPO climbed a mobile tower demanding his and others' reinstatement in Police Department.
The protesting SPO Dharam Chand, who was axed from service last year started a protest at Rani Park in Ramnagar on Monday.
On receiving information that a person has climbed the tower, police, fire brigade, civil defense squad and senior Police officials rushed to the spot.
The SPO paid no heed to appeals by police and Civil authorities to come down," an official on the spot said. |
