| Anil Kumar criticizes Government for taking over control of Baba Jito Shrine | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 7: Son of former head Pujari of Baba Jito Shrine, Anil Kumar today criticized government order taking control over administration and management affairs of Shrine under tourism department. Addressing the media person, Anil Kumar expressed his deepest anguish regarding the dictorial government order. Where the 'Baba Jito Jhiri Shrine' was under tourism department and taken over the entire administration, management, control of offerings and every other related matter with this nearly 600 years old hindu shrine which is worshipped not only by the Jammu and Kashmir but from the northern states of the country including some foreigners as well. He said, "At the place of his immolation a temple was raised and with the change of time it sprung into a beautiful complex attracting lakhs of pilgrim visits every year. The so called secular government of state, it seems is bent upon to inflict every type of atrocity and oppression to Hindu community". "There are thousands of religious places of other communities in the state itself. Did government ever dare to even throw evil eyes on them also, equally shameful is the attitude of those of so called Hindu Crusaders who for the sake of perhaps their personal vendetta are adamant to destroy the hindu ethos in state" he questioned.
