| Police public meeting held in Arnia | | |

Jammu Nov 7: A police public meet was held by SP Hqrs. Jammu, S Randheer Singh here today in Arnia in which around 100 prominent citizen of the area participated and apprised their problems especially after the eruption of brder skirmishes.
official spokesperson said the meet was necessitated in view of the recent developments and close proximity of the area with the International Border and it was held with an aim to get acquainted with the problems being faced by border people and listen to their genuine concerns pertaining to police Department soon after taking over the charge of present assignment.
Some issues were highlighted by the participants, for which on spot directions have been issued to SDPO R.S.Pura/SHO P/S Arnia. At the same time they have been informed that all out efforts are being to eradicate the social evils from the society. Police officials while concluding the meet asked the villagers to keep a hawk's eye on the activities of the bad elements and act as eyes of the Police so that nefarious designs of such elements are defeated |
