Police recovered three live grenades from outside the office of Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, here today.
Official sources told News Agency of Kashmir that some passerby noticed a child playing with a suspicious object outside the office of DC, late last night and informed the police.
Police rushed to the spot and found that the object was a hand grenade, which was found by the child from a nearby area. As there was complete darkness in the area, police launched a search operation this morning.
The search team, sources added, recovered two more grenades in the area, this morning.
