| Porter injured in Mine blast | | VDC Member robed off service riffle | | Rajouri, Mar 22 An army porter critically injured after a mine went of in Beji Sector of border district Rajouri, while some unidentified masked persons believed to the militants barged into the house of a VDC member; decamp with his service riffle here last night. Informed sources told News Agency of Kashmir that one Imran Razaq son of Muhammad Razaq working as porter with 19 Dogra regiment of Army at Beji sector in Rajouri, lost his lower limb after a land mine went suddenly off. Sources said he was immediately shifted to army Base Hospital in Rajouri for treatment where from he was shifted to Jammu. Meanwhile, some unidentified persons believed to the militants barged into the house of Kunj Lal, a VDC member, who had gone to some other village. The masked persons, sources said, decamp with the official 303 riffle along with 48 rounds. Police has registered a case in this regard. |
