| Pawan Shastri thanks Railway authorities | | | JAMMU March 22
President Jammu and Kashmir Yatra Bhavan Trust Pawan Shastri has, on behalf of the trust, thanked the Railway authorities for providing additional coaches with Himkund Express running between Jammu-Haridwar as well as for other facilities extended by them to the management of the trust in facilitating the Jammu pilgrims to visit Haridwar on the occasion on Somavati Umavas on March 19 last, that coincided with the first solar eclipse of the year as well as the first Navratra.
Pawan Shastri claimed that 25000 pilgrims from Jammu visited Haridwar on the occasion and availed all facilities including free meals provided by the Jammu Yatri Bhavan there.
Ch. Lal Singh, MP, his Kanta Choudhary MLA and Jugal Kishore Minister for Rural Development were among the prominent persons who visited Haridwar on this occasion and appreciated the arrangements made by the Yatri Bhawan for the comforts of the pilgrims.
