Expressing its grave resentment over the government’s silence on their demand, All Jammu and Kashmir Unemployed Physical Education Teachers in a meeting held under the chairman of Rakesh Sharma has impressed upon the government to fulfill its commitment made with them.
It was stated at the meeting that the Government had agreed a number of times that all the unemployed PeTs would be appointed on the pattern of Rehbre-e-Zirat, but despite lapse of months no decision has been taken on it.
President of the Association Vijay Manhas regretted that despite Chief Minister’s repeated announcements in various public meetings about the absorption of the PeTs, the fate of the Unemployed PeTs was hanging in balance and urged the Government to fulfill its commitment without much further delay.
