| Usman conducts extensive tour of Bandipore | | | Jammu, March 23
An amount of Rs. 75.32 lakh are being spent on construction of additional accommodation for Higher Secondary School, Girls Hr. Secondary school Bandipore and Higher Secondary school Argam under Rural Development programme.
This was stated by MLA Bandipore Mr. Usman Majid during his 4-day extensive tour of Bandipore constituency.
Appreciating the efforts of department of Roads and Buildings and other allied agencies for reconstructing Papchan bridge, connecting Bandipore with Srinagar, which was washed away by flash floods recently, Mr. Majid said that the bridge was reconstructed and traffic restored within 24 hours by strenuous efforts of concerned agencies.
MLA also visited Bunakoot village and took stock of the situation arising out of recent rains.
Mr. Majid also addressed public meetings at Malangam. |
