| One arrested with neelam | | | Jammu | Mar 23
City police today arrested one person and recovered about 4 Gms of Sapphire (Neelem) from his possession. According to reports today, City police party led by SHO Kuljeet Singh during routine patrolling in the area saw a one person in suspicious condition and called him for checking and recovered 4 gms of neelam from his possession. He was taken to police station for further interrogation. He has been identified as Sonam Tashi son of Sonam Namgyal resident of Kadan, Padder, Kishtwar. Sources said during interrogation he told police that he was on way to deliver the neelam to someone in the City. Police has registered a case in this regard and investigating the matter.
