| Mangat lauds Azad for pro-people decisions | | | JAMMU, MARCH 23 Minister for Health and Medical Education Mr. Mangat Ram Sharma has said that biggest challenge before the state is to curb corruption, pull the people out of economic distress, arrange for larger employment generation canvas and get involved in massive infrastructure development programme already launched in the state. He was addressing a large public rally at R. S. Pora organized to commemorate sacrifices of Bhagat Singh and his companions. Mr. Sharma said that by the historic and landmark decisions of Mr.Azad led government, a new era has dawned in the state, which requires to be further strengthened and protected from all threats. He praised the forces for their selfless service and greater sacrifice while protecting lives, honour and property of the country and the people especially the role they have played in the state to cut the tentacles of militancy and help create atmosphere for peace and process. Mr. Sharma paid glowing tributes to Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev for their brave sacrifices laying edifice for freedom struggle, which ultimately culminated in freeing India from British Raj.
