| Cultural academy holds a day long seminar | | |
Jammu, August 03 : Jammu and Kashmir academy of art, culture and languages in association with Bazm-e-Hamdania Khankah-i-Mualla today organized one day seminar to highlight the contribution and various aspects of life of Shah-i-Hamdan Hazrat Mir Syed Ali Hamadani.
Speaking on the occasion Moulvi Khursheed Ahmad Qanoonngo patron of the Bazm-e-Hamdania stressed upon to follow footsteps.Dr.Rafiq Masoodi, secretary Cultural academy revealed that academy has already worked on various aspects of Shah-i-Hamdan Hazrat Mir Syed Ali Hamadani and has published a special numbers of Sheeraza Urdu, which is considered a landmark on the contribution of Sufi Saint. He also declared that the academy is presently working on various aspects of Shah-i-Hamdan Hazrat Mir Syed Ali Hamadani.
And will encourage such persons and institutions who will highlight his contribution.
Former Chief Secretary Sheikh Ghulam Rasool who was also present on the occasion read out paper and expressed his views about the auspicious function. A book compiled by Mohd Yousf Hasni was also released on the occasion.
The function was attended by senior academicians, research scholars and Spiritual leaders besides hundreds of followers of Shahimadan.
The function was presided over by Mufti Azam Kashmir, Maulana Mohammad Bashir-u-din and Maulana Syed Mohammad Ashraf Andarabi was the chief guest on the occasion. The prominent personalities who were present on the occasion include Dr. G.Q.Allaqaband, Syed Wajih Ahmad Andarabi, Meharaj-ud0din, Prof.Magroob Banhali, and Director CBS Kashmir. |
