JAMMU March 24
Expressing its grave concern over the non-fulfillment of genuine demands of the workers, PHE Employees Welfare Association in a meeting held under the chairmanship of its President Om Parkash Sharma, has urged the government to consider these demands at the earliest.
The demands made at the meeting included grant of 6 per cent dearness allowance to state government employees, enhancement of wages to daily wagers, as announced by the Chief Minister at May Day function last year, grant of grade to all those who have completed seven years permanent service, besides regularization of all daily wagers.
Among others who spoke at the meeting included Asha Ram, Mohan Lal, Chanan Dev, Kharti Lal, Chaman Lal, Girdhari Lal, Sunil Dutt and Garu Lal.
