| Martyrs’ remembered | | | Nowshera March 24
Like other parts of the country the martyr’s day was observed here also in which several speakers threw light on the life and supreme sacrifices made by the freedom fighters like Bhagat Singh, Sukh Dev and Rajguru.
Radhay Mohan Sharma while paying homage to the martyrs said that Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev sacrificed their lives for the freedom of country. Describing Bhagat Singh as a revolutionary, he said that Bhagat Singh wanted social justice for all sections of the society."Real tributes to these freedom fighters would be to take pledge to work for removing inequality and to establish a socialist society in the country’’, he said.
He recalled that when Central Assembly was in Lahore and British administration was determined to pass and promulgate the legislation based on anti-people and anti-labour policies, the young freedom fighters were compelled to stall the process of passing the draconian legislation. He said that the spirit behind such young people was not violence but projecting the real aspirations of the people against draconian and anti-people law of the British Government.
