| Deputation calls on CM | | | JAMMU, March 24
A deputation of Gaddi and Sippi tribes of Bani area led by Minister of State for Finance Mr. Prem Sagar Aziz met Chief Minister Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad here last evening.
Minister for Health and Medical Education Mr. Mangat Ram Sharma was also present.
The deputationists presented a memorandum to Chief Minister detailing their demands which included hostel facilities for the students of the community.
Hailing the decisions of Chief Minister Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad particularly those taken for the welfare and upliftment of the weaker and drown trodden section and they hoped would prove highly beneficial for these sections.
Chief Minister gave patient hearing to the deputation and said that steps would be taken to redress the grievances.
