| Agricultural technocrats hail CM’s decision | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | March 24 The Jammu and Kashmir Agricultural Technocrats Association has appreciated the coalition government’s decision to absorb all the unemployed agriculture technocrats in government jobs. General secretary of the association Rajeev Sharma also thanked Pt. Mangat Ram Sharma, Prof. Bhim Singh, Dr. Farooq Abdullah , Ajay Sadhotra , Ch.Lal Singh and Dr. Nirmal Singh for their support to the As. Shakti Sharma, vice president of the association highlighted the Rehbar-e-Zairat scheme implemented in 1984 under which the state govt. had appointed unemployed agriculture technocrats under Govt.order no. 305 of 1984. Agriculture technocrats were absorbed by the state government on a consolidated salary of Rs. 400. The association has asked the govt. to absorb all unemployed agriculture technocrats on the pattern of 1984 RZ scheme, all the technocrats should be treated like other professional degree holders, they demanded. The association announced the new executive body which includes Surinder Radhotra as Provincial President, Shakti Sharma and Jogeshwar Sharma as vice president, Rajeev Sharma as general secretary, Junaid Shah, Khurshid Ahmed and Mehraj Zargar Coordinator of Jammu Province from Kashmir, Vinod Sharma, Sanjay Sharma , Ajaz Ahmed as executive members. Vikas and M.P. Singh were included as new office in charge. Vote of thanks was presented by Rajeev Sharma. |
