| SSH demands stern action against culprits of Mendhar incident | | | Jammu | Mar 25
Shiv Sena Hindustan (SSH) has demanded stern action against those who coloured the dispute over a piece of land into a communal clash by inciting a section of people at Mendhar. State President SSH, Dimpy Kohli has blamed the state government for its alleged failure to protect the rights of minorities in the state. He also termed the ongoing tussle between PDP and Congress as a mere drama which aimed at just to befool the people of state.
While speaking in a meeting, Kohli criticized state government for adopting soft attitude towards the particular community due to which people of Hindu community were forced to migrate to other parts from Mendhar. The issue was just a dispute over the piece of land but some of the politicians incited the religious sentiments of the people and turned it into a communal clash for settling their own political means.
Taking National Conference (NC) to the task, Kohli launched scathing attack on its leader for arousing communal passion as the NC MLA played an important role in inciting the people. He also demanded the immediate arrest of the said MLA.
