| SFC Union demands probe in bungling | | | Jammu March 25
In an extra-ordinary meeting, the Jammu and Kashmir State Forest Corporation Employees Union, has hailed the government decision to post a senior and experienced Accounts Officer from the Finance Department to hold the charge of Divisional Manager Finance in the Corporation.
The Union in a hand out has alleged huge financial irregularities in the Corporation and called for conducting a special audit of the Project Circle Jammu, civil division workshop, extraction division Udhampur and the SFC Finance Wing. The Union alleged bulk purchases of several items, including furniture and fixtures, have been made by the Corporation at exorbitant rates and without fulfilling the codal formalities.
