| Enrolment drive campaign launched | | | Miran Sahib March 25
To ensure cent per cent literacy and keep a check on drop outs in the schools, Government Middle School Kotli Mian Fateh Miran Sahib today organized a rally to create awareness among the people about the importance of education in the changed scenario.
The enrolment awareness drive rally led by the Headmaster was joined by teachers, students of several nearby schools and general public, especially the women.
Addressing the rally, the Headmaster GMS Kotli stressed the need for imparting education to the children to meet the new challenges. He said the government was endeavoring to achieve the goal of per cent literacy in the state and in furtherance of this objective, has opened a net work of schools and colleges where free education is imparted to the students up to the University level, besides providing poverty cum merit scholarships, uniform, stationery and books free of cost to the poor and under privileged students.
