| Railway employee dies | | | Jammu, Mar 25
An employee of Northern Railways died when he reportedly tried to jump out of a running train near Samba, this morning.
Sources informed that a railway employee Shiv Ram of Sapwal was on his way back from Ahmadabad, where he had gone for some departmental training.
When the train, he was traveling, reached near Samba station Ram jumped out well before the train stopped. His head struck on an iron road leading to his on the spot death, added the sources.
Police said that it has registered a case and started investigation. The body of the deceased was handed over to his family after completion of legal formalities.
