| Body of abducted person recovered | | | Srinagar Mar 25
Body of a civilian, who was abducted by suspected militants from his home in Beigund village of Tral, was recovered, today. Police said he has been strangulated.
Reports reaching here revealed that some passerby noticed a body lying in open fields outside Nowpora village under the jurisdiction of police station Awantipora and informed the police.
A team was rushed to the spot which recovered the body and shifted it to the police station. The deceased was identified Khursheed Ahmed Gancho son of Abdul Ahad resident of Trenz Shopian.
The twenty four years old villager was abducted by unidentified militants from his home, police said. His body was handed over to his relatives after autopsy.
