| Bhalla distributes cash among disadvantaged children | | | Jammu, Mar 25
In order to provide opportunity to poor and disadvantaged children to get education, National Youth Child and Women Empowerment (NYCWE) organised a two day programme in which near about 40 students participated.
Most of these students belong to very poor families and programme the programme was organised with aim to encourage them to enroll in Government school so that they can become play important role in society.
MLA, Gandhi Nagar Raman Bhalla who was chief guest on the occasion, distributed Rs 150 per student. Speaking on the occasion, he asked the parents of these students to give them education so that they can contribute to the society.
Bhalla said that he was personally taking interest in providing every possible help to these students, so that they can continue study upto college level. He appreciated the organizers for organizing such an event.
Speaking on the occasion, president of the NYCWE, Suman Kapil said that the organization is planning to expand its activities to involve more and more children from downtrodden families and put their children.
