| Hoteliers Association hails extension of tourist festival | | | Jammu, Mar 26 All Jammu Hotels and Lodges Association( AJHLA) has welcomed the decision of Jammu Tourism Festival committee in extending the period of Jammu Tourist Festival by one day. This decision of the committee, thus, changes the duration of the festival from three to four days. As per the release, the AJHLA has announced a thirty percent discount to the visitors in all hotels and lodges beside this association will serve Dogri cuisine in all the restaurants and hotels which are the members of the association. The decision to this effect was taken in a meeting of Hoteliers Association held here today under the Chairmanship of Inderjeet Khajuria, president of the association. The Association has appealed to all its members to extend warm hospitality to the guests and maintain their establishments in perfect order to ensure that the festival is a grand success. He also informed that the waiters and other staff of the hotel will be dressed in Dogri attire in order to ensure that very best of Jammu is showcased to the guests. Meanwhile, the association has demanded that during the four day festival the power department should ensure that there is no power curtailment in the city. Those, who were present on the occasion included Pawan Gupta, general secretary, Ajay Gupta, senior vice president H S Manhas, vice president Ajay Suri, secretary Vikram Singh, publicity secretary and Baldev, treasurer.
