| Diesel black marketer held, 2100 litres diesel seized | | | Rajouri | Mar 26
A person was held today for black marketing of diesel at Rajouri and large quantity of diesel was seized from his possession. According to reports, police booked specific information of diesel black marketing the diesel in the area. Thereafter a police team from Rajouri police station led by SHO Mirza Shaheen Akhtar under the direct supervision of DySP HQ Kulwant Singh Jasrotia swung into action and carried out a raid at Kallar area. During the raid, police arrested one person red handed while selling the diesel in black. He was immediately arrested and 2100 liters of diesel was seized from the spot
The arrested person has been identified as Som Raj, son of Sita Ram of Kallar. He told police that he was active in this illegal trade from last many years and also revealed the name of some persons who used to supply diesel to him on very low rates. Police has also registered a case in this regard and investigating the matter. It is to mention that some security personnel were also booked for supplying diesel from their supply.
