| Matric student drowned at “Har ki Pouri” | | | Jammu | Mar 26
A tenth standard student was drowned to death while taking holy dip in river Tawi at “Har ki Pouri” near Bagh-e-Bahu this afternoon. According to reports, a 17 year old youth namely Sandeep Singh Saini, son of Kewal Krishan of Nanak Nagar lost his balance while taking bath at the banks of river Tawi at “Har ki Pouri” and slipped away to the deep waters. He was accompanied by his family also. On the receipt of information, police team from the nearby police station rushed to the spot. The victim was a tenth standard student.
