Jammu, March 26
National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) is organizing State Credit Seminar for the year 2007-08 on 28th of this month, in which State Focus paper and State specific sectoral papers will be presented.
The Seminar which will be inaugurated and presided over by S. S. Sahni, Principal Secretary, Agriculture Production, will be guided by S. Mohapatra, Chief General Manager, NABARD, J&K Regional office.
Senior officials of the State Government, Reserve Bank of India, Commercial Banks, Regional Rural Banks, Cooperative Banks and selected NGOs would be participate in the seminar.
It may be mentioned here that every year NABARD prepares State Focus paper, which presents a comprehensive potentials available in the Sate for development of agriculture and allied sectors. Thereafter a State Credit Seminar is organized wherein State Focus paper and State specific Sectoral papers are presented.
