Jammu, March 26
Nehru Yuva Kendra (NYK), Udhampur has invited applications from the dedicated youth, both male and female, for deployment as National Service Volunteers (NSV) for 2007-08. The youth, who will be selected as NSV, will have to render one year of service for the development of the country.
The posts of NSV are lying vacant in the blocks of Udhampur, Majalta, Ramnagar, Ghordi, Chenani, Gool, Arnas, Mahore, Panchyari, Reasi, Dudu -Basantgarh and Pouni.
The application forms can be obtained from the office of District Youth Coordinator, NYK, Ward No:- 2, Indira Nagar, Udhampur on any working day from 10 a. m to 5 p.m. .The selected candidates will be paid a monthly honorarium of Rs. 2,500 in lieu of his/her services. The candidates applying for the post of NSV should possess minimum qualification of Graduation. However, for SC/ST and female candidates, the minimum qualification should be 10+2. The age of general category candidates should be below 28 years as on March 31 2008, while for SC/ST and female candidates, the age should be below 30 years.
The last date for submission of application forms in the office of Nehru Yuva Kendra, 26 A, II Extension, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu is March 30, 2007.
The interview shall be held on April, 5, 2007 in the Office of District Youth Coordinator, Nehru Yuva Kendra, Ward No:- 2, Indira Nagar, Udhampur from 10.A.M onwards.
