| Saini persuaded to defer fast unto death in Bua Datta temple issue | | Several organizations condemn Government’s criminal silence | | Jammu March 26 Expressing serious concern over the indifferent attitude of the successive state governments, including the present one, the Bua Daati Temple Management Committee in its meeting of various heads of religious, political and social organizations, have appealed Sat Pal Saini, Chairman of the Management Committee to defer his fast unto death for the time being . The meeting, while condemning the criminal silence of the state government on various problems said that on one hand it has encroached upon 250 kanals of land of the Temple by raising Civil Secretariat building without any compensation since 1950, on the other it has been disrespecting the temple by allowing the filthy and dirty water of VIPs toilets on the roof top of the temple from Assembly Complex thus, hurting the religious sentiments of the Hindus. The meeting also decided to approach some more organizations to mobilize public support and also condemned the undue interference of SP Security of the Civil Secretariat for creating hurdles in the day to day functioning of the temple by harassing the devotees and threatening the members of the management committee, the Chairman said in a handout today. Among others who participated in today’s meeting were Dr Rama Kant Dubey President VHP, Mahant Shaub Narain Dass President Sadhu Samaj, Uday Chand President DPP, Ram Pall Sharma, President DLF, Inder Jeet Khajuria President Hotels Associations, Sat Pal Saini, Chairman Bua Datta Temple Management Committee, B R Chandan, Advocate, Dwarka Nath Sharma and Sudhershan Saini, Trust members, Ved Pal Saini.
