Jammu, March 27
North Zone Cultural Centre, Patiala in collaboration with Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Cultural and Languages organized Classical Vocal and Folk Instruments Competitions held here today at K. L. Saigal Hall, Academy complex, Jammu.
On the basis of over all performance, in Classical Vocal Category Ist prize of Rs 10,000 has gone to Ms. Chinmei Sharma, 2nd prize of Rs 3,100 to Mr. Naveen Sharma, 3rd prize of Rs. 2100 to Mr. Ranjit Singh and consolation prize of Rs 500 to Mr. Vinay Sharma.
Similarly in Folk Instrument Category, Ist prize of Rs 10,000 was bagged by Mr. Rohit Sharma, 2nd prize of Rs 3100 bagged by Mr. Anil Sumbria, 3rd prize of Rs 2100 to Mr. Sanjay Kumar and two consolation prize of Rs 500 each to Mr. Rovin Kumar and Mr. Udit Sharma. These awards were presented alongwith participation certificate and memento by Secretary J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages on the occasion.
Eminent Artists, writers were present on the occasion.
