To felicitate former Minister R.S. Chib on his election as MLC in the State legislative Council, Baba Dharam Chand Devsthan Committee, (DDC) NUD today organized an impressive function in his honour today.
According to press release, senior Congress leader and newly elected MLC RS Chib, while thanking the Committee, appealed them to play a constructive role in guiding the future generations in such a way, so that they work for strengthening the roots of secularism in the society, which is need of the hour.
He also asked the Biradari to fight against the evils of society like dowry system and untouch ability. Others who spoke on this occasion included Prof. Jai Singh, Uttam Singh Chib, Corporator Col. S.S. Chib, Thakur Ravi Singh, Capt. Baisakhi Singh, Shri Satpal Singh, Shri Shamsher Singh, Shri Sagra Singh, Thakur Balwan Singh, Th. Kartar etc.
