| Lok Adalat decided 14 accident cases and awarded 19.60 laces | | | JAMMU, March 28
Lok Adalat was held today in the District Court Complex Janipur Jammu in which 3 benches were constituted. The bench number 1 comprising Mr. Janak Raj Kotwal Chairman District Legal Service Authority Principal District & Sessions Judge Jammu, Mr. Hari OM Singh Additional District Judge Bank Cases, Mr. Gopi Krishan Pandita 1st Additional District & sessions Judge and Shri SS Sarangal Presiding Officer MACT Cases Jammu, this bench taken up 79 Motor Accident Cases and settled 14 cases in which Rs 19, 60,000/- awarded as compensation.
Bench No 2 comprising CJM Mr. Sanjay Dhar and Mr. Balbir Lal Jaswal 4th Additional Munsiff Jammu, this bench taken up 28 cases pertaining to Municipal and settled only 28 cases.
The Bench No 3 comprising Mr. RK Wattal Sub-Judge Jammu and Mr. MR Chak Forest Magistrate Jammu, this bench taken up 23 cases of petty criminal matters and settled 9 cases. |
