Police today claimed to have recovered a dead body of a Pakistani militant who is believed to have been killed in group rivalry.
According to SSP Kupwara, Police station Kupwara recovered a dead body from general area of Kandi forests, late in the evening, yesterday.
He revealed that inquest proceedings U/S 174 were initiated and locals were called to identify the dead body, which could not be identified.
He said that the documents recovered by the dead body, however, identified the deceased as Fazl-ul-Rehamn Masoodi, R/O House Nok-2, Mohalla Kabnal, colony Bat Langer, Janubi Waziristan Soba Sarhad, District Teng Pakistan.
SSP further disclosed that from investigation, it appeared that the deceased Pakistani militant had been killed by other unidentified militants in group rivalry. |
