One person was killed and four others were serious injured in different accidents in and around city. According to reports today, one Sonu Bhadhur son of Tarman Gorkha resident of Turli, District Gorakh Nepal was hit by a rashly driven truck no JK02/ 5567 at S.K Filing station, Thandapani in Sunderbani. Sonu was critically injured in the accident and was rushed to the SDH, Sunderbani by the locals.
Reports said late evening Sonu succumbed to injuries and died in hospital. Police has registered a case in this regard and investigating the matter.
Meanwhile, a woman namely Kamlo Devi wife of Kewal Singh resident of Panera, Reasi commited suicide by hanging herself with a tree near her house. Early morning when local people spotted her body they informed the police, which came on the spot and took the body to hospital for postmortem. A case has been registered in this regard and police is investigating the matter.
Meanwhile, Anil Vaid son of Santosh Vaid resident of Patel Nagar was hit by an unknown vehicle at Domail, Anchal Singh son of Basant Singh resident of Tarannagar, Kathua was hit by truck at Hatli Morh, Bhudhi Singh son of Onkar Singh resident of Shakti Nagar was hit by truck at canal Road and Ravi Kumar son of Chamu Ram resident of Batote was injured when his own scooter rolled down at Batote all injured were admitted in GMC for treatment and police has also register a case in this regard and investigating the matter.
