| Kidnapped woman recovered | | | Srinagar Mar 29
Police today claimed to have recovered a woman who according to them was kidnapped some days back from Wagoora area of Pulwama district of south Kashmir.
Informed sources told News Agency of Kashmir that Police today recovered one Tawheed D/O Abdul Majeed Rather R/O Wuyan, who had been kidnapped by one Manzoor Ahmad Mir, s/o Ghulam Hassan Mir, R/O Ludgam Tral, on 24th of this month.
Sources said that a manhunt was launched to nab the kidnaper. The woman was recovered and has been handed over to her family while the accused has been put behind the bars.
People of the area have appreciated this action of police in recovering a kidnapped woman within days.
