| PHE deputation meets Commissioner | | | Jammu March 29
A deputation of Water Works Employees Association Jammu Province led by its President Shiv Kumar Sharma met the Commissioner PHE today and apprised him about long pending demands of the employees for which the PHE Unions and INTUC have been struggling from long.
Sharma informed the Commissioner that the government had in principle agreed to enhance the wages of those working as community participation but till date they have not been paid the same and the grades have not been given to non ITI employees.
The Commissioner, according to Association handout, has assured the deputation that the demands which have already been accepted by the government will be met on priority basis.
Vinod Kumar, Som Nath, Vijay Kumar and Tilak Raj were also with the deputation.
