| PDP holds meetings, discusses problems | | | JAMMU, Mar 29
A series of meetings were held at Rahim Nagar Meharpur, Sunjwan, Gulmarg Colony Bathindi under the Chairmanship of Surjeet Kour, State Executive Member PDP, in which all the local people of these areas participated. The meeting discussed various problems like shortage of electric poles, choking of lanes, drains and construction of roads.
Addressing the meeting Smt Surjeet said that PDP has always championed the cause of the poor and down trodden. She said that it is the healing touch policy of PDP that has created situation conducive for peaceful resolution of Kashmir issue. She stressed that self-rule would address the aspirations of people of Jammu and Kashmir. She appreciated the policies of the Party emphasizing on equal development of the three regions.
Those who were present in the meeting included M.Ayoub Hadri, Ghulam Rasool, Shafi Anees, Sakina Begum, Mansoor Bashir, Mohammad Ghani, Ghulam Rasool, Gurvinder Singh and Manmeet Singh.
