| Army jawan found dead under mysterious condition | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 24 : A missing 29 year-old jawan of 25 Punjab Regiment was allegedly found dead in Khour area under mysterious circumstances this afternoon.
"Identified as Rocky Raina son of Jagan Nath of Rattanpur was posted in Chennai presently on month long leave was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Khour area", said police official adding that his motorcycle was also recovered from the spot. Sources said that the deceased reportedly had gone to Akhnoor to meet his in-laws and went missing.
After getting the information the police team along with Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) experts rushed to the spot and took the body under custody.
Sources said, " Later, after collecting circumstantial evidences, the body was sent o the mortuary of a nearby hospital for autopsy. Sources said that family of the deceased claimed it as 'murder'. Station House Officer (SHO) Khour, Inspector Surinder Raina when contacted told over phone that it is premature to say anything till post-mortem report is received. Meanwhile investigations in this regard are on. |
