Jammu, Jan 24 : As part of Republic Day celebrations, a Sham-e-Ghazal was organized in Police Auditorium Gulshan Ground. According to press release, top grade artists of All India Radio Dr. Roshan Bharti of Janipur, Shashi Lata Virk of AIR, Delhi besides a galaxy of instrumentalists like Syyed Ahmed Khan, a grade sitarist of AIR Semi Feroz of Radio Kashmir Jammu recited their ghazals.
The programme started with lightning of lamp by the dignitaries present and welcome address and greetings by the programe head Radio Kashmir Jammu. The concert begun with ghazal sung by Shashi Lata Virk, whoch was followed by Dr. Roshan Bharti. |
