| Five-day Trekking expedition concludes | | | Udhampur Mar 29 The five-day trekking expedition, covering a distance of 38 kms, concluded with the successful adventurous trip on the snow bound tracks of Himachal Pradesh. The expedition, as a part of Platinum Jubilee Celebrations of the Indian Air Force, was flagged off from Udhampur on March 24 by Air Vice Marshal Anil Chopra. After a successful journey of five days, the trekking expedition team returned back safety last evening and was given a warm welcome by Group Capitan G.Amar Babu, Station Commander Air Force Station Udhampur. During the five day expedition, the team climbed a top Khaeareri peak, 10000 metres above the sea level, with full enthusiasms and high spirits. They also came across snow bound track from Golu onwards. During the trip, the team en route interacted with air force team from Pathankot and the people of HP spreading the vibrant image and high tradition of the Indian Air Force
