| JK SS holds meeting | | | Jammu, Jan 27: Jammu and Kashmir Sangram Sena (JK SS) today held a meeting under the chairmanship of RR Raina here at Nagrota. According to press release, during the meeting JK SS president RR Raina expressed their grievances against the traffic police Jammu for their deliberate delequiance with their duties merely for their mean ends of earning illegal money as gratification from commercial vehicle operators.
He further said that the traffic police at Bye-Pass Check post and at Dumail likewise at other Check post were charging and demanding hefty amounts from commercial drivers on one or the other pretext. Above all the overloading was rampamt which was not being checked by the traffic police merely because the traffic police receives hafta from such operators. They appealed the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, Commissioner Traffic to look personally in this matter and delver the probe governance by initiating appropriate action and tightening of traffic police in Jammu district in interest of public. They further demanded that the corrupt officers immediately pushed out and replaced with honest officer. |
