| Rs 3.60 lakh distributed under Horticulture Technology Mission | | | Jammu, March 29
MLA Nagrota Mr. Jugal Kishore Sharma distributed cheques amounting Rs. 3, 60, 900 lakhs to the farmers for constructing Water Harvesting Tanks and Dug Wells in Villages Katal Batal, Pathwar, Marh (Dansal) and Kathaar (Dansal) under Horticulture Technology Mission.
Speaking on the occasion, the MLA stressed upon the farmers to avail maximum benefit of the available schemes under Horticulture Technology Mission. He also appreciated the efforts of the Department for creating awareness and bringing an impact of Horticulture in Jammu Division particularly in Dansal Block.
Director Horticulture Jammu Mr. M. S. Qasba gave detailed account of the incentives available with the department and steps initiated to create awareness for successful implementation of the Horticulture Technology Mission Programme.
Chief Horticulture Officer Jammu Mr. J. L. Sharma was also present on the occasion. |
