DDC Leh visits remotest village, assess development needs

Jammu, March 29
Deputy Commissioner Leh Mr. Dwivedi visited the district’s most isolated village Lingshed to assess problems of the people. Situated across Singhe-la 18500 ft. Lingshed and four other villages Yulchung, Nayraks, Dipling and Fotoksar remain cut off with rest of the district for the whole winter.
The people of Lingshed while welcoming the Deputy Commissioner projected various demands such as installation of DSPT (Wireless Communication Service), upgradation of Medical Aid Centre into a dispensary, operation of helicopter services to the area at least once in a month, construction of motorable road to Singhe Lalok area, arrangement of fodder and feed to the animals in view of shortage of fodder and providing solar light facility.
Mr. M. K. Dwivedi assured the people that all necessary measures would be taken to fulfill their development demands of the people.
