| Jugal Kishore distributes cheques | | | Jammu, Mar 29
MLA Nagrota, Jugal Kishore Sharma today distributed cheques amounting to Rs 3, 60, 900 to the farmers for constructing Water Harvesting Tanks and dugwells in village Katal Battal , Pathwar, Marh and Kathar (Dansal). These water harvesting structures have been constructed under Horticulrture Technology Mission. Speaking on the occasion, the MLA stressed upon the farmers to avail maximum benefits of the schemes launched under Horticultural Technology Mission. He also appreciated the efforts of the department for creating awareness among the people.
Director Horticulture, M S Qasba, while speaking on the occasion gave a detailed account of the incentives available with the department and steps initiated to create awareness for successful implementation of the Horticulture Technology mission programme. J L Sharma, Chief Horticulture Officer, Jammu was the chief guest on the occasion.
